Why switch to water-based parts cleaning?
Traditionally, the washing of parts and components has involved the use of solvents, despite the risks of fire and associated harmful emissions. But today there is another way.
In recent decades, the parts cleaning sector has seen the emergence of valid alternatives to solvents that can remove even stubborn dirt, grease and contamination from a wide variety of materials. These “aqueous” liquids are non-flammable and free of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), whose emissions are dangerous for humans and the environment, and many are also classified as “non-hazardous”.

Water-based liquids have numerous benefits, and many companies have already abandoned solvents in favour of health- and environment-conscious solutions. Beyond health and safety, eliminating solvents can also bring advantages from a practical and economic point of view: with lower insurance costs, less need to use PPE and less effort spent on compliance documentation.
