New CPO to major on inclusion, culture and excellence

Safetykleen is delighted to announce that Clarissa Sigl joined the Leadership Team on 12th July 2021, as Group Chief People Officer.

Clarissa brings a wealth of unique and business critical experiences to Safetykleen at an important time in Safetykleen’s story.

Speaking on her arrival, CEO Erwin Wieffering said:

“The Board, the Apax team and I are delighted to welcome Clarissa to the team. She will be based in our Brentford offices but will spend as much time as possible with the various branches and countries.

I have asked Clarissa to play a pivotal role in helping me and the senior management team drive our ambition by strengthening our global People strategy. Our aim is to build a world-class organisation that everyone at Safetykleen can be proud of.

Clarissa’s mission will consist of aligning the Safetykleen HR Teams, the Management Team and the Board with a strong, shared vision, creating a ONE Safetykleen culture underpinned by winning company values, and putting in place an attractive and robust talent brand and pipeline across the company.

We know that our future growth depends on our ability create an inclusive culture where people feel valued, and believe they have an opportunity to thrive. The Chief People Officer role is therefore critical in our ambition to transform the parts cleaning industry and develop our ONE Safetykleen company.”

Clarissa joins us having spent over 10 years at Skill Capital where she was a partner and latterly led the Global Business Services practice. And she has significant experience of attracting, developing, and retaining great talent in a commercially astute manner, having worked with blue-chip clients in multiple countries, and is eager to apply her expertise in her new home:
